1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the SafeCheck Home mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

SafeCheck Home ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Jambing Studio. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Jambing Studio regarding your use of the App.

2. Service Description

SafeCheck Home is a consumer product safety information application. Based on publicly available data from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) National Electronic Injury Surveillance System (NEISS), the App provides:

  • Product category injury statistics and trends
  • Age-tailored safety alerts and recommendations
  • Customizable room-by-room safety checklists
  • Injury scenario summaries for consumer education

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the App at any time without prior notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.

3. Data Source & Accuracy

The App displays data derived from the CPSC NEISS database, which is publicly available government data. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that the information presented is complete, current, or error-free.

Injury statistics reflect reported emergency room visits from a sample of U.S. hospitals and are statistically weighted to produce national estimates. They do not represent the absolute safety or danger of any product category, as exposure rates (how many people use a given product) are not measured.

You acknowledge that you use the App's safety information at your own discretion and risk.

4. Medical Disclaimer

SafeCheck Home does not provide medical advice.

The App is designed for consumer education and informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or safety concern.

If you believe you or someone else is experiencing a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes
  • Not misuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the App's underlying data or code
  • Not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App's functionality
  • Take appropriate safety precautions in your home independent of the App's recommendations

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, text, graphics, and overall user experience, is the intellectual property of Jambing Studio. The underlying CPSC NEISS data is in the public domain and is not claimed as our intellectual property.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jambing Studio and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App.

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

8. Third-Party Links & Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services, including the CPSC website and e-commerce partners. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the Terms within the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

The latest version will always be available on this page and in the App's Settings.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
